Cragging at Joshua Tree

I took my first trad leader fall on this trip. I ended up hanging below three pieces of pro with mild rope burns and a slightly sprained foot. My leg got burned when it was caught between the rope and a runner on one of my lower pieces, I'm glad it didn't happen on my top piece. I must have burned my hand by grabbing the rope, something I have no memory of doing.

The nut I fell on was a super solid placement, and my directional kept the rope from loading any other pieces. It was spooky leading up past the spot I had just fallen on, but I finished the route and kept leading more routes.

All in all, my first fall was a good experience.
