Cragging and hiking at Ancient Lakes and Vantage

Lindsay, Yoav, and I spent much of the day wandering around the Quincy Wildlife Recreation Area, a beautiful group of lakes and coulees east of the Columbia River. There are two cragging areas here with bolted and trad routes. I sport led Addicted to Crack (5.8), a loose, bolted route on the Ancient Lakes Crag.

In the evening we drove over to Frenchman Coulee and climbed at The Feathers. Desert Shield (5.9, sport lead then TR), The Uprising (5.8, TR), Me Too (5.9, sport lead).
