Bill's Peak via SE side
We took trail 1391 to trail 1226.1 to the 5,600+ foot pass. From the
pass we went NW up the talus slopes of Bill's Peak. We dislodged some
rocks from this hillside that rolled a few hundred vertical feet
before stopping. After getting to the top of the talus the route is
tough to describe, so I'll avoid doing a rotten job and not try.
The summit block was nice rock that had a walk-up route and also had
some fun class 3 climbs. Views from the top were 360 degrees,
especially impressive was the in-your-face view of the Stuart Range to
the north.
