Guye Peak via Alpental bootpath
We took the bootpath starting at the first Alpental parking
lot (just south of the Snow Lake trailhead). The first section of the
trail was steep, rocky, wet (the trail is a creek for a while), and a
bit brushy. When the trail got to a clearing it forked left to
Snoqualmie Mountain and right to Guye Peak. We took the right fork to
the top of the ridge and another intersection, we took the right fork
along the ridge to Guye Peak (the left fork must lead to Commonwealth
Basin). There was a bit of easy rock scrambling in the last part of
the trail.
