UNIX (and UNIX-like) OS's for Macs

I was just given a Macintosh LC, which appears to be at the bottom of the Mac crud pile of that time. We'll see if a UNIX runs on it... The pickings are pretty slim.

UNIX for PC's.

A/UX
Apple's Unix.
Linux/m68k (free)

Linux-pmac (free)
Another port to the Power PC. These MKLinux and Linux-pmac support different hardwares, so check the FAQs.
LynxOS
A real-time UNIX-like system. (POSIX 1003.1 compliant, X11R5)
MachTen
Sounds like a pretty complete system. (X11R6, Mach kernel, 4.3BSD)
MacMach
Gone, done, and over.
MacMinix
(free, limited license)
Not even any TCP support.
MKLinux (free)
Apple's Power Macintosh port of Linux running on the Mach microkernel.
NetBSD (free) Formerly known as MacBSD.
OpenBSD (free)

In my "check-this-out" list:

	MacMiNT http://www.sra.co.jp/people/hoshi/macmint-e.html
	Patmos
	OS/9-68K
