Cragging at the Fun Forest

The Fun Forest is a small, granite crag on I-90 west of Denny Creek and east of exit 47. For such a little crag, the Fun Forest had some excellent routes and a lot of variety. In the four routes we climbed I got in some finger crack, hand crack, lieback, hand traverse, chimney, crimpers, and slab. Fun! This crag also has the most novel approach of any crag I've been to. The main drawback is highway noise, I-90 is 30 feet away.

There are four bolt anchors on the main rock, three of them aren't immediately obvious and may require a cordelette to safely approach. There are two more bolt anchors on a detached pillar. There are three sport routes that aren't in Sky Valley Rock, including a moderate chimney sport route.
