Try raku and foil saggar firing, observe large pots being thrown & fired, surface design techniques, multiple kilns and multiple firings, meet artists, potters, friends. $105 includes lunch, and glazing and firing of 5 bisque pots (additional pieces extra). Nov. 22 & 23, 2008: Audubon Society, Wild Arts Festival, Montgomery Park, Portland, Oregon. Boni & Dave will have a booth at the 28th annual Wild Arts Festival. This is the Northwest’s premier show of nature-related Art and Books. Meet over 70 artists and craftspeople, plus 30 authors: novelists, photographers, poets and writers of non-fiction. Also: appearances by the Audubon educational birds of prey, entertainment, a café and other surprises in this festive atmosphere. Hours: 10am–6pm Saturday, and 11am–5pm Sunday. April 24 – 26, 2009: Ceramic Showcase join Boni & Dave at the Oregon Convention Center, Portland, OR, Friday and Saturday from 10am-9 pm, and Sunday from 10am-5pm; free admission, over 200 clay artists, excellent clay demonstrations throughout the day, public clay activities.
